Commission is coming to Broken Hill

The independent police watchdog, the Law Enforcement Conduct Commission, is hosting a community event to promote law enforcement integrity in Broken Hill on Thursday 20 February 2025.

The Commission will provide an opportunity for community members to hear about its work and how it strives to improve public trust in law enforcement, and for the Broken Hill community to share their experiences of policing in the local community.

Commissioner Anina Johnson and Director Prevention, Legal and Engagement, Susan Raice will be hosting the event.

The Commission encourages everyone to come along, share their experiences and ask questions about the Commission’s work.

  • 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM (Presentation, Q & A and event concluded)
  • Light lunch provided

Members of the public wishing to attend the LECC’s free lunchtime community info session on Thursday 20 February 2025, 12:30pm at Broken Hill Musicians’ Club are requested to register via the link here.

The Law Enforcement Conduct Commission has joined with the ICAC’s rural and regional outreach program which has proved highly successful since its inception in 2001.

Previous visits have included the Dubbo, New England, Riverina, Hunter and the Central Coast regions of NSW.
